Since moving to Canada in July 2018 I had only managed 4 days at home. 2020 was meant to involve a number of trips but obviously Covid saw to that. I was however, lucky enough to get home in December and spend some quality time with my family.
Writing this from quarantine in Canada, it quickly became clear this is an occasion where a picture is worth a thousand words….

Lovely reminders of a happy homecoming! It was really marvellous seeing you and all the family. Thank you for including us in a memorable dinner on Christmas Eve. I wonder how you got out of UK back to Canada. It must have been a close run thing. We’re glad you’re back there for your sake. Methinks safer than UK? We’re tucked up in Goldings. Just Face-Timed Buzzy, Martha and Jack. Very cold. And a lot of progress with the new barn. Let me know how you get on with “Pastoral Landscape”. Much love from Dee and me, John
